COVID-19

We are adjusting to the new situation and beginning to accept students for courses again. However, in consultation with our medical advisor we have had to introduce some rather strict controls in order to ensure the safety of all participants: Students attending will have to fulfil one of the following three conditions:

  • Have a recent (in the past 6 months) positive covid19 antibody test from Roche or Abbott laboratories or
  • Self isolate for 14 days at home in accordance with the instructions given below or
  • Self isolate at home for 3 days then do a PCR test self administered from https://www.better2know.co.uk/shop/products/home-testing-kits/covid19-test The cost of the test is £125.00. Please be aware that it can take several days for the test results to come back, so you should allow almost a week of total isolation before the course.

You would have to be able to come to the centre in your own transport, as public transport is not safe.

If you are coming from abroad, you would have to do the period of isolation in the UK and be able to reach the Centre shortly thereafter by your own vehicle.

In accordance with the instructions of our doctor self isolation means:

  1. Students who wish to join the course must please observe a social-distancing* period (for him or herself and all household members) prior to the course, either three days followed by test, or 14 days.
  2. If there's any interruption in the social-distancing* period, either by you or by any member in the household, you would have to start a new.
  3. If anyone in your household becomes ill, there must be a 14-days of social-distancing* period after full recovery for yourself and all your household members .
  4. *Social-distancing means maintained strict avoidance of public places continuously. These include public transport, shopping areas, grocery shopping, malls, restaurants, gyms, baths, schools, meetings, work places and public areas. This also includes completely avoiding visits from third parties, and not going to visit family or friends. This is in addition to good practice such as regular handwashing, cleaning surfaces etc.

All family members living in the household must also be able to avoid all such public areas and people continuously.

Please only consider coming to the course if you are able to fulfil one of the above conditions very thoroughly. We feel that, unless students feel safe at the centre, meditation is not possible. These are extraordinary times.

If you would like to come, please let us know. Amit, our doctor, will then call you to clarify any areas of doubt.

With warm wishes and Metta,
